Share a secret

How this works

Your browser encrypts the text with a random key. Only the encrypted version is uploaded, so the server can't read it.
The key goes into the link after the #. Browsers never send that part to the server.
The link works once. Opening it shows a confirmation page first, so chat link previews can't use it up.

Two ways to send it

One link is the simplest: anyone who gets it can read the secret once.

Link and key separately is safer. Send the link by e-mail and the key over chat, for example. Someone who intercepts only one of them gets nothing.

Options

Passphrase: an extra password the recipient must type. Tell them through another channel. After 5 wrong attempts the secret is destroyed.
Auto-burn timer: the secret is deleted when it runs out, even if nobody opened it. Untick it to keep the secret until it is read.
Destroy link: lets you delete the secret before it is read.

The key isn't stored anywhere. If you lose the link, nobody can read the secret.

Sending to someone outside the company? Ask them to request it instead. Nothing secret then travels over e-mail.
